Perry Mills & Associates are innovative locally based landscape design architects, having completed hundreds of projects across Victoria. We focus on creating sustainable, innovative outdoor spaces and garden designs that balance creative ideas with function.

Our Approach to Landscape Design

Our process involves completing comprehensive site analysis - so our designs work with nature and build ecological values.

We listen carefully and talk to clients and stakeholders. This helps ensure that our proposals meet the needs and expectations of all associated stakeholders, and ensure that all issues are addressed.

We collaborate with artists to create landscapes that integrate art and sculpture to make evident the layers of a site's history, the richness of the community and the environment that has created it.

Our landscape architectural designs emphasise sustainable landscape techniques. We employ natural ecological processes where possible to create landscapes with low embodied energy, biological diversity and a long life. This includes employing permaculture principles as appropriate.

We build bespoke design teams from our wide network of specialist consultants such as building designers and architects, ecologists, horticulturists, engineers, and graphic designers. They all contribute to our landscape design projects as associates as needed.
